    Benefits the athletes of Special Olympics Rhode Island!

    Police, fire, corrections, EMS, and military personnel are invited to take part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics Rhode Island’s inaugural HEROES PULL. This event pits departments from across the state against one another to see who can pull a fire truck, police vehicle, and, ultimately, a tractor trailer 40 feet in the fastest time. The top two teams will compete for the championship by pulling a tractor trailer.

    Each team must have a minimum of 8 participants. Recommended rosters include 10 active participants and 5 reserves, who can substitute for an active member at any time. Registration is $500 per team and includes lunch, an event t-shirt, and—of course—the chance to win the ultimate bragging rights.
