Basketball Skills Tournament
The Annual Special Olympics RI Basketball Skills Tournament at Bryant University, Chace Multipurpose Activities Center, will take place on Sunday, February 15, 2025.
After many weeks of training, beginner level athletes of all ages will compete at several skills stations to demonstrate their passing, dribbling, and shooting skills. All will be placed in divisions by ability level and will be awarded medals at the end of the competition.
Volunteers are needed to coordinate the skills stations and do the scoring, escort the athletes to each station, cheer them on and celebrate their accomplishments.
Volunteer Hours: 8am-1pm
• Knowledge of the sport of basketball is not needed.
• Volunteers must be 16 years old or older.
• 24 volunteer slots available.
• Lunch will be provided.

Special Olympics Rhode Island hosts over 40 statewide tournaments and competitions each year in 20 official and demonstration sports.
