The Annual Special Olympics RI Golf Skills Tournament at Button Hole Golf Course in Providence will take place on Saturday, August 20, 2022.
After six weeks of training, beginner level athletes of all ages will compete at several skills stations to demonstrate what they have learned on the putting greens and driving ranges. All will be placed in divisions by ability level and will be awarded medals at the end of the competition.
Volunteers are needed to coordinate the skills stations and do the scoring, escort the athletes to each station, cheer them on and celebrate their accomplishments.
Volunteer Hours: 10:15am-1:30pm
• Knowledge of the sport of golf is not needed.
• Volunteers must be 16 years old or older.
• 30 volunteer slots available.
Registration deadline: August 8th, 2022
