The incredible work of Special Olympics Rhode Island supports those with and without intellectual disabilities through the power of sports, transformative unified schools programming, inclusive community impact, etc. I have seen the power of this movement in action, the Inclusion Revolution, and it is truly transformational for those with and without intellectual disabilities and everyone involved! I am proud to be participating in the Celebrate the Movement fundraiser to further advance the work of Special Olympics. I invite you to join me in supporting my fundraising efforts! Special Olympics Mission: The mission of Special Olympics Rhode Island is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
