A Message From Matthew Carosotto
Hi, I'm Matt. This is my final year in high school and my last official plunge as a high school student. Unified Volleyball has been the highlight of my high school years. We have won 2 state championships which have been very exciting for me. My teammates have been the best teammates I have ever had. I am so lucky to have so many teammates that care so much about me AND unified sports. I have learned so much because of unified sports. I will continue to participate in many Special Olympics sports. However, it will be hard to beat the past 4 years in high school. In fact, our school is now a Special Olympics National Banner School. We will be having a big celebration on March 10th which I will be the MC with my unified partner and friend Oliveia. If we get lots of donations for this plunge, many of our teachers and other teams/clubs at high school will plunge with our team. We are trying to get the biggest number of pledges ever! Please consider donating to my team and my final EGHS plunge. I know your donation will continue to support all the wonderful unified programs we have at the high school.

In Support of Special Olympics RI
Special Olympics is a global movement that unleashes the human spirit through the transformative power and joy of sports, every day around the world. Through sports, health, education and community programming, Special Olympics is tackling inactivity, intolerance, isolation and injustice that people throughout the world face, especially people with intellectual disabilities.
Special Olympics Rhode Island is one of the state’s most dynamic programs, providing over 1,600 year-round sports training and athletic competition opportunities to more than 4,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Rhode Island hosts over 40 statewide tournaments and competitions each year in 20 official and demonstration sports.
