A Message From Michael Horan

I have been participating in the Penguin 🐧 Plunge with my brothers and sisters from Hopkins Hill FD for the past 21 years . Again this year , in addition to the Penguin 🐧 Plunge on New Years Day , I will be one of the 24 hour Super Plunge Team members.Each team member will plunge every hour beginning Saturday,March 25th and ending on Sunday , March 26th I have been involved with Special Olympics Rhode Island for the better part of 23 years ,being part of the medical team as a Emt , to taking part in many fundraising events from the fashion show, to the many plunges,to being part of the truck convoy, to having the privilege to be able to transport the SORI support trailer to the State Summer Games . For many years I have reached out to the many members of what I affectionately call Penguin Nation for they support in donations and they have always come through , I have also reached out to many friends in business and also to my many friends with in the Towing and Recovery Industry and they have always come through for my incredible friends at Special Olympics Rhode Island I THANK YOU ALL for this support In total last year we together raised 23,500 and for all of the years combined we reached 112,000 absolutely amazing and we are only warming up , so thank you all and please continue to support myself and our Team , Mike
