Hello to all! On March 26, 2023, the Annual Torch Run Plunge is taking place at Salty Brine Beach at 12 noon. Once again it is time for me to take the plunge for this wonderful cause. I hope you can donate to my page so I may reach my goal and help the athletes. It is a lot of fun plunging for this event and seeing the smiles on the athlete’s faces is a reward no one could ever forget! Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. Special Olympics Rhode Island is one of the state’s most dynamic programs, providing over 1,600 year-round sports training and athletic competition opportunities to more than 4,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Rhode Island hosts over 40 statewide tournaments and competitions each year in 20 official and demonstration sports.
