A Message From Katelyn Dorney
Once again Riverside Middle School is participating in the Unified Champion Schools Plunge on Saturday, March 25th. The proceeds of this plunge will go towards The Unified Student Program at Riverside Middle School. This program provides inclusive social and athletic opportunities for all students.
Being part of the unified community at Riverside Middle School is extremely important to me as well as a passion. It is so important that I am willing to dive into the cold waters at Roger Wheeler State Beach in Narragansett, Rhode Island to help raise money for the continuation of the unified program. My goal is to raise $200.
Thank you for your support! Hope to see you there.

In Support of Special Olympics RI
Special Olympics is a global movement that unleashes the human spirit through the transformative power and joy of sports, every day around the world. Through sports, health, education and community programming, Special Olympics is tackling inactivity, intolerance, isolation and injustice that people throughout the world face, especially people with intellectual disabilities.
Special Olympics Rhode Island is one of the state’s most dynamic programs, providing over 1,600 year-round sports training and athletic competition opportunities to more than 4,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Rhode Island hosts over 40 statewide tournaments and competitions each year in 20 official and demonstration sports.
