It's been a few years but I'm back at it. I'm going to freeze my @$$ off again this year for the Torch Run Plunge with other members of Newport Police Dept. Please consider donating ANY amount to a great cause, Special Olympics of RI foundation. I'm hoping to at least raise $500. So if all my friends and family donate at least $5 each, I'll have at least $25 to the cause... just kidding. But really, if at least you donate a little, a little goes a long way when a lot of people donate. Thanks so much, and maybe I'll see you there in March!

Through sports, health, education and community programming, Special Olympics is tackling inactivity, intolerance, isolation and injustice that people throughout the world face, especially people with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Rhode Island is one of the state’s most dynamic programs, providing over 1,600 year-round sports training and athletic competition opportunities to more than 4,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Rhode Island hosts over 40 statewide tournaments and competitions each year in 20 official and demonstration sports.
