A Message From Frank Matarese Jr.

I’m excited to share that Special Olympics Rhode Island athlete, Brian Johnson, will be joining me for the 6 hour portion of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Rhode Island 24 hour walk on October 21st. Brian recently returned from the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023, where he won GOLD and SILVER medals in Bocce. This past June, Brian and I carried the flame of hope into the opening ceremonies of the Summer Games at URI. We also met up at the opening ceremonies for the World Games in Berlin, Germany. Please join my quest by making a donation to my page. Thank you for helping me to reach my goal!
