A Message From Lauren Morelle

I am an occupational therapist at Curvin McCabe Elementary School and I work with children in grades K-5. At Curvin, we strive to include all of our students as much as possible. Our school has a Unified Basketball Team where students in grade 5 team up with our students with disabilities to work on social skills through basketball. At the end of the year, the unified team participates in a game against another elementary school in the district. The fifth grade students make sure everyone is included, helping children to make baskets and celebrating them when they do. It is an amazing event and an amazing program. My team and I will be plunging on Saturday March 23rd at Roger Wheeler Beach. All donations will go towards growing our Unified School Team making sure all students are included. #CHOOSETOINCLUDE
