Special Olympics has made such a huge impact on my life. Since getting involved in unified I have made numerous new friends. I have played unified basketball for EG since 6th grade and have had so much fun! I am on the Youth Activation Committee for SO which has led me to meet so many amazing people. Last year I did Special Olympics NK volleyball , and this year I am so excited to be joining EG's volleyball team! I am also volunteer for the EG basketball skills program and SORI ski team! Unified has changed my life for the better!

Special Olympics Rhode Island is one of the state’s most dynamic programs, providing over 1,600 year-round sports training and athletic competition opportunities to more than 4,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Rhode Island hosts over 40 statewide tournaments and competitions each year in 20 official and demonstration sports.
