A Message From Brady Pendergast
Hi! It's me Brady again here to tell you how important Unified Sports is to me and to once again ask for your support. As most of you know, basketball is everything to me. This past summer, I was able to play for the first time in a Unified Summer league and play again in the fall. For athletes like me, being on the court with my teammates and partners is where I feel most accepted, treated with respect, and like I belong to something really important. This past fall, our Rhody Rangers Unified Team welcomed my sister Maddy (even though she doesn't know anything about basketball) and everyone treated her as their equal and was so happy to have her on the court. Unified Sports shows us how much more we are alike than we are different.
I always appreciate your support, year after year. Thank you. Brady Pendergast

In Support of Special Olympics RI
Special Olympics is a global movement that unleashes the human spirit through the transformative power and joy of sports, every day around the world. Through sports, health, education and community programming, Special Olympics is tackling inactivity, intolerance, isolation and injustice that people throughout the world face, especially people with intellectual disabilities.
Special Olympics Rhode Island is one of the state’s most dynamic programs, providing over 1,600 year-round sports training and athletic competition opportunities to more than 4,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Rhode Island hosts over 40 statewide tournaments and competitions each year in 20 official and demonstration sports.
