Hello Penguin honorary staff and Penguin adjacent supporters! We are preparing for the 49th (my 29th) Annual Penguin Plunge for Special Olympics RI. January 1, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at the NEW LOCATION of Scarborough State Beach, Narragansett. Your donation won't keep me warm but it will help keep SORI athletes active all year! Any amount accepted with deep gratitude. I will splash for you in the ocean on New Year's Day and wish you a very Happy New Year! *** Save the date: 1/1/2026 Penguin Plunge: Join Team Rancho Relaxo in "freezin' for a reason" by running from the penguinry into the ocean, and then back to our team spot where the pit crew will help you warm up with some free hot chocolate and SORI swag, followed by a tailgate party for plungers, crew, and supporters in the parking lot (or at our house in the event of rain.)
