A Message From Lola Cowan
This is my fourth year doing the polar plunge for Special Olympics in every year. The kids that we raise money for are the reason I strive every day. I will also be freezing for a reason for my buddy Cam, Me and Cam did Bocce together and got third place. In this month, we are doing bowling together in our tournament is in April. So this year, I will be running for him. My goal is to raise over $200 but my set minimum is at least 200. All this money goes to such great work so it will mean a lot for all the money I get. Not only does this go to the school and our unified program, but it also goes to special Olympics. Anything can help If you can’t donate, please share!

In Support of Special Olympics RI
Special Olympics is a global movement that unleashes the human spirit through the transformative power and joy of sports, every day around the world. Through sports, health, education and community programming, Special Olympics is tackling inactivity, intolerance, isolation and injustice that people throughout the world face, especially people with intellectual disabilities.
Special Olympics Rhode Island is one of the state’s most dynamic programs, providing over 1,600 year-round sports training and athletic competition opportunities to more than 4,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics Rhode Island hosts over 40 statewide tournaments and competitions each year in 20 official and demonstration sports.
