Plunge for a Purpose!

The Mercymount Middle School Students are plunging for a purpose!

The Mercymount Ice Breakers, in conjunction with the Law Enforcement Torch Run & Super Plunge, are jumping into the icy waters of Salty Brine State Beach in March of 2027 to raise money for Special Olympics Rhode Island — and they need your help!

This is no ordinary dip… it’s a bold, chilly, laugh-out-loud challenge that shows just how far the Mercymount Ice Breakers will go to support inclusion, friendship, and fun for Special Olympics athletes across Rhode Island.

Every donation helps our team make an even bigger difference!

Help the Ice Breakers turn their plunge into a victory for all Special Olympics Rhode Island athletes.

Donate today and cheer them on as they make a splash for a great cause!

Every dollar raised helps provide year-round training, competitions, and life-changing opportunities for Special Olympics Rhode Island athletes. Together, we can make a difference, one step, one plunge, and one event at a time.
