For the past 10 years, my son Parker and I have taken the Penguin Plunge together, and what started as a cold-water challenge has become a tradition we look forward to every year. Year after year, we return for the same reason: to raise funds for Special Olympics Rhode Island and support a cause that means so much to us. Sharing this experience with Parker has given us some great memories, but more importantly, it has given us the opportunity to make a difference together. Ten years of plunges means plenty of cold water, but it also means 10 years of showing up, giving back, and supporting something bigger than ourselves.
