A Message From The K2 Matty Crew
Our Team is called The K2 Matty Crew in honor of Matthew (Kyle and Kristin are the K2) and everyone who is a fan of Matthew and Special Olympics. This week we are celebrating the Movement Fundraising Campaign to support Special Olympics RI. We consider Special Olympics as part of our extended family and we are so proud to have had the opportunity to represent this organization on both a national and a local level. There is not a sport Matthew doesn't play. In fact he is playing Bocce with Mike, playing Unified Volleyball for his high school (I'm the coach) and playing Unified Basketball for North Kingstown Special Olympics. He loves every minute of it. Please consider donating to the K2 Matty Crew from October 16th to the 24th. Matthew will be doing a ton of walking and of course playing unified all this week. Also, Kristin, her friend Eva, Lauren (Kyle's girlfriend) and myself will be running a 1/2 marathon next Sunday in honor of Special Olympics RI. What better way to do that than supporting this organization and the hundreds of athletes like Matthew.
