For the last 5 years, a dedicated group of volunteers has walked for 24 HOURS (about 70 miles on average) to raise money for Special Olympics Rhode Island!
. (in variating increments) :
Super Walk will kick off at 10:00 am on Saturday at City Park and conclude Sunday at the Special Olympics Rhode Island office in Smithfield approximately 10:00 am.- Some will walk for 6 HOURS
- Some will walk for 12 HOURS
- A few will go all the way and walk for 24 HOURS!
Regardless of the hours or mileage covered, each participant is dedicated to supporting the athletes of Special Olympics RI and helping to raise funds and awareness.
