My name is Zachary Coyne and I am a proud brother of Michael Coyne, a Rhode Island Special Olympics athlete. I have seen first hand the empowerment and happiness that SORI provides to our most underserved Rhode Islanders. Everyday, SORI habilitates a community of friendship, inclusion and community among some of the most vulnerable of our population. This year, I am participating in the 24 hour super plunge for SORI. I will plunge into the ocean once an hour, for 24 hours, to raise awareness and funds to continue to support this amazing organization. Your donations help continue this great legacy, and go directly towards making so many special moments possible. As a police officer it’s been the honor of a lifetime to bestow a gold medal upon an athlete, and receive the most genuine hug from someone truly grateful for these memories.
