The Fundraising Page of Mary-Ellen Powers

Hi Friends! My name is Mary-Ellen Powers. I am a Special Olympics Rhode Island athlete who participates in Unified Bowling and Swimming on the Bristol County Baysiders team. I am also the Athlete Leadership Specialist for Special Olympics Rhode Island. On Sunday, March 23rd, the annual Torch Run Plunge will take place at Salty Brine State Beach. Although I may just be walking into the water up to my knees, since I had knee surgery this past Fall, I am still looking forward to participating in this annual event as part of the Arctic Athletes plunge team! All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit over 3,500 athletes like myself who participate in Special Olympics Rhode Island. Any size donation would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much!
