My Super Plunge is once again dedicated to Charlie Kolb, which has become a proud tradition over the last 12 years. He and his family are great ambassadors of the Special Olympics RI program. This year our team of Super Plungers will dive into the icy cold ocean EVERY HOUR for 24 HOURS between Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon, March 22nd-23rd, 2025, to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics RI. A new challenge of severe arthritis in my hip, exposure to the freezing ocean and wind chills, and absolute sleep deprivation are brutal, but we known firsthand that Special Olympics makes the lives of people with intellectual disabilities BETTER through year-round sports programs, camaraderie with peers, and promoting tolerance and acceptance in society. Please help me achieve my goal for my friend Charlie and ALL of our friends with intellectual disabilities who reach new heights through this program. Thank you kindly.
