This year marks my 24th Penguin Plunge, a tradition I’m proud to share with my amazing dad, the Hopkins Hill Fire Department, and so many supportive friends and family. Every New Year’s Day, we take the icy dive for a cause that means the world to us—the Special Olympics of Rhode Island. This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of this incredible event. I’m honored to continue participating and to help raise funds that directly support athletes with intellectual disabilities, providing opportunities for inclusion, empowerment, and joy. I’m hoping to reach my fundraising goal of $500, and every donation—big or small—makes a real impact.
