We are a group of athletes, coaches, families, friends, and community supporters who are proud to be part of the Special Olympics movement. Our team, The West Bay Knights are diving into the 2026 Penguin Plunge to celebrate inclusion, courage, and determination. We believe in the power of sports to bring people together and showcase the abilities of every individual. As Special Olympics athletes and partners, we train hard, support one another, and have fun doing it! The Plunge is our chance to come together outside of competition to raise awareness and funds that help athletes shine all year long. Our goal is to raise $100 for Special Olympics of Rhode Island. Every dollar helps provide training, uniforms, and competition opportunities for athletes and helps make inclusion a reality in our schools and communities. Whether you’re taking the plunge, donating, or cheering from the shore, your support makes a difference. Together, we’re building a world where everyone is accepted and celebrated for who they are.
