50 Years of Making a Splash for Special Olympics RI! Who We Are: Our team is coming together to celebrate a massive milestone: The 50th Annual Penguin Plunge. We are a group of friends, colleagues, and community members united by a single goal—supporting the incredible athletes of Special Olympics Rhode Island. What We’re Doing: We are taking the plunge into the freezing ocean to honor 50 years of inclusion, courage, and sportsmanship. It’s going to be cold, it’s going to be crazy, and it’s going to be totally worth it. It's a great way to start the New Year! Why It Matters: In my role as a Board Member for SORI, I see firsthand how these funds change lives. Every dollar raised helps provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for over 4,000 athletes—all at no cost to them.
