I am walking for my older brother, Scott, and the thousands of Special Olympic athletes around the world. Witnessing firsthand the positive impact that the Special Olympics had on my brother serves as a constant reminder of the positive impact that the Special Olympics has on each and every one of its athletes. I am excited to participate with Class 143 of the Rhode Island Municipal Police Training Academy; and believe that collaboration and teamwork will not only raise the funds necessary to allow Special Olympics Rhode Island to thrive, but raise awareness for such a profound cause.
